What the rules require
From 5 October 2026
Spanish Law 9/2025 (transitional provision 8) sets the date from which the control document must be electronic for domestic haulage for hire.
The article 6 data
Contracting shipper, actual carrier, origin and destination, date, plate, nature and weight of the goods (Order FOM/2861/2012). Cheqqit will not generate the document until all of them are in.
Showing it at a roadside check
The Resolution of 5 June 2026 requires the document to be shown electronically and verifiable through a link or code. Cheqqit's QR opens the PDF directly.
Keeping it 15 months
Every version of the document is stored immutably, with a sealed generation time. If the data changes, a new version is generated and the previous one is kept.

The driver carries it
You pick the driver on the shipment and the DeCA reaches their employee app, always at hand: they mark departure and delivery and show the QR if stopped. We recommend downloading the PDF before routes without coverage.

Frequently asked questions
How much does the shipments module cost?
Nothing beyond your Cheqqit subscription: €4 per employee per month, from a single employee. There are no paid modules and no setup fee.
What if the officer or the driver has no coverage?
The QR opens the document over the internet, so in areas without coverage we recommend downloading the PDF to the phone before leaving: the driver can show it on screen, and the QR printed in it can still be verified later.
Does it work if I subcontract the transport?
Yes. On each shipment you state whether your company acts as the actual carrier or as the contracting shipper; both parties are printed separately, as article 6 requires.
Is it valid for international transport?
No. The DeCA covers domestic haulage for hire (origin and destination in Spain, cabotage included). International transport uses its own documentation.
